Banking, on average.
EveryBank, N.A. is the equal-weighted composite of every one of the roughly 4,200 banks that filed an FFIEC Call Report this quarter. We don't have a headquarters, a charter, or a stock ticker that trades — we have a dataset and a sense of humor about it.
Products, at exactly the industry average
Every rate below is a real, equal-weighted mean or coverage figure pulled from Q2 2026 Call Report data — not a marketing number. Ask a banker (there are 480 of them, on average) for details. See our core business lines for the full breakdown.
Checking & Deposits
Transaction and nontransaction deposits, exactly as the industry holds them. 100% of EveryBank's constituents offer this. We checked.
Loans & Mortgages
Mostly single-family residential and non-owner-occupied CRE — the two loan types every American bank carries, whether it means to or not.
Wealth & Trust
A real, enormous business — for the 9.7% of banks that run one. For the other 90.3%, this tile is aspirational.
Capital Markets
Interest-rate swaps for the vanilla hedgers; FX, equity, and commodity derivatives for the roughly one bank in fifty that runs a real dealer desk.
Where the average bank actually lends
Four places EveryBank's money goes, from the typical bank to the giants. Numbers are Q2 2026, equal-weighted across 4,239 banks.

Find your average branch
EveryBank has no street address, so we can only tell you what the average American bank's footprint looks like — not where to park. Look up any US city, state, or metro area →
Source: FFIEC National Information Center (ownership structure, current snapshot, 4,000 unique ultimate-parent trees walked across 4,239 banks) and FDIC Summary of Deposits (branch census, 2026 survey year). Subsidiary/affiliate logic: a subsidiary is a descendant of the bank itself; an affiliate is a descendant of the bank's ultimate parent that the bank doesn't itself control. The biggest single constituent in each column: Truist Bank (2,264 subsidiaries), Morgan Stanley Private Bank, N.A. (4,171 affiliates), and JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. (5,141 branches) — three-quarters of American banks have none of the above.
We have 1.29 in California.
(Real, equal-weighted averages across all 4,239 constituent banks — not a typo. Most banks have zero branches in most states; the average just doesn't round to zero. Only 170 of 4,239 banks operate in California at all — among those, the average is 32.1 branches, not 1.27. Both numbers are real; they answer different questions. Look up any state, metro, or city →)
What share of American banks actually do this?
The coverage rate — the percentage of constituents reporting any nonzero value — is the honest disclosure hiding inside every average on this page. Click any row for the Call Report items behind it.
About EveryBank. We are the equal-weighted average of every institution that filed an FFIEC Call Report for the period — not a real charter, not a real filer, not investment advice. The mean EveryBank and the median EveryBank are, in every meaningful sense, two different companies that happen to share a name. See our Q2 2026 earnings release for the joke told properly.
Investor Relations
EveryBank does not have shares outstanding, but it does have quarterly results, because arithmetic doesn't take a quarter off.
